If you somehow lost your progress in We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip, we are very sorry. This might have happened when closing the game incorrectly or losing power/internet/experiencing network instabilities while being in the middle of a puzzle.
Unfortunately, unlike our other games, We Were Here Expeditions: The FriendShip does not allow players to manually select checkpoints to replay. The game was designed as a fun, bite-sized experience for you and a friend or partner, where your communication and teamwork skills are tested throughout the entire playthrough. Your performance affects both your final score and the appearance of your ship, leading up to a final judgment at the end of the game.
Because of this, we intentionally chose not to include a checkpoint replay feature. We didn’t want players to see their final results and then return to earlier sections to improve their score, as that would go against the idea of an authentic and genuine “friendship test.” However, if you’d like to achieve a higher score, you can replay individual puzzles during your playthrough as many times as you’d like before moving forward.
