If you are trying to join a game for We Were Here Together on PlayStation and can't find any public rooms in the lobby, or if you are unable to join someone else's room, please read the information below, which provides a possible fix for this.
Keep in mind that it could be that nobody is hosting an open lobby at the time you're searching. You can always look for a partner in our Discord server or wait for the busier hours (usually in the evenings or weekends) to have more chances of finding a partner.
If you have trouble joining someone's room, try to directly invite the other player from your friend list instead of manually searching for the room.
Make sure your PC's Firewall is not blocking the game or that your console has all relevant multiplayer settings enabled and an online subscription to be able to play with others online.
Make sure your NAT type is set to preferably ‘open' or at least ‘moderate' and that your console settings allows for Online Multiplayer gaming.
How to change your NAT type:
- Go to the Settings menu. Select Network then View Connection Status.
- Your NAT type will be displayed at the bottom of the page.
- The NAT Typefield will display a number which indicates your connection type:
- Type 1: open NAT. Type 2: moderate NAT. Type 3: strict NAT.
